Thanks, Siber. I actually lost money on the repurchase/sale, but it was never about the money. I wanted to make sure the community survived and flourished. I have a few other projects I am spending time on and I was starting to feel guilty about neglecting SI. It will take a substantial amount of work to bring SI into the mobile world, as well as social enhancements that NEW users expect (while many are content to see things stay the same, SI needs new users to replace attrition and to start growing again)

I am not going anywhere, and I look forward to using SI as a member. I just won't be on call for when something breaks in the middle of the night, or when some jerk invariably attempts to trash the place. I'd like to thank SI Ron for his tireless work in that regard. He's taken care of the majority of the spammers, vandals, and criminals and will continue to do so.

SI was the first community on the web, and with everyone's help it will remain the oldest.
