Why are you bothered by the political threads? I see that you seldom post on them. Someone twisting your arm to read them?

By all means keep them and read them, one looks for clear consistent voices, alas on SI there seems to be so few now . There was one fellow that always spoke with gravity, from little prejuduce & from a great knowledge base but left in 2005 , that was Neocon . Marvelous thinker he was, measured , always insighful & respectful which few equalled but gone now.

I don't care much for the Evolution Thread. Maybe we could do away with that

By all means do away with it, its only been a study for me, always of interest how polarized society America seems always embroiled. We see these perpetual battles going on just like the Scopes trial which still continues on in the USA from1925 . Maybe we should go back to make the teaching of Evolution illegal again like it was then too...

(Perhaps will start a movie thread & have "Inherit the Wind" as my first choice )
