A black swan event on the horizon? It seems more and more likely, the conflict between Japan and China over some islands amid some oil prone sea bed will escalate into regional conflict. Considering the US commitment to protect Japan, I am thinking that all US companies with significant supply chain exposure to China could be in big trouble. Apple's supply chain is anchored in China. I would appreciate any comments on expected impact if hostilities break out in the South China Sea. So far, my only idea is to buy some out of the money puts on Apple and Wallmart. TIA
