this is completely off topic. But i have to rant here about the horrible helmet to helmet hit by pollard on the patriot running back which knocked the running back senseless or worse. it is a travesty that given what we now know about head injuries and concussion that this is considered legal because the attacked player was a running back. I also consider all the commentators on the game cowards for avoiding talking about this subject or even trying to explain the logic that a helmet to helmet hit on a QB or receiver results in a 15 yard suspension of even ouster from the game, but a running back who is being held up is fair game for permanent debilitating injury. These intentional hit should be flat out banned, if its ruled intentional the player should be tossed out of the game for a first offence and a second offence during a season should result in a one year suspension without pay . a 15 yard penalty for inflicting a permanent head injury doesnt cut it in my view. Pollard is a habitual offender in this category.
