I agree 100%. I paid for lifetime and was pissed enough when they tried to move people to iHub and get us to pay again to remove the ads. I won't use that site but to check a few lightly followed stock boards every few months that don't have a board here. The real value of SI is the long-time regular posters with a history here that can be searched and all the eyeballs we bring. If you drive away the top regulars... little value is left. I remember before they let people like GZ moderate and ban pesky posters, I set up boards for GZ on other sites that had the feature and people came. Lets hope the new owner is not a bozo who blows a good thing....
