Where was Al Gore on the future of the Democrat party - that's right - same treatment.

R's are doing just fine, picked up Governors seats, house and senate.

Romney was never an insider within the party - that was part of the attraction to many voters.

The question for democrats is what hope do they have after the messiah steps down.
