Any proof of the psych eval? From what I saw she was preparing to move to Washington state to put him in a specialized school.

Self-harming is fairly common for those on the spectrum. Being constantly rejected by others takes a toll on their self-image. Depression and/or anxiety is comorbid with it for the same reasons.
