I was just clarifying. Getting a diagnosis as an adult is difficult because they have developed coping skills by that point and it takes a lot of time to pin down an accurate diagnosis.

For me, it is great because it has really contributed to my working with computers. And enables me to come up with solutions that no one else has thought of.

There was a movie on HBO on Temple Grandin. Now she is a HFA. But the movie captures the visualization process in ways that no one has done before.

Those on the spectrum are people. And they differ in how far out they are. Not to mention everyone has different life experiences. I am so grateful I was not born female with it. Their rate of sexual abuse is almost, but not quite, universal for them. And often starts at an early age.
