Or are you playing games with words like CJ, in that registration doesn't cause confiscation, just that it provides a list of guns to go confiscate?
Neither of your links proved that the government came to confiscate LEGAL firearms.

From the CTV news link:
Many of these owners had their guns stashed in the closet or in a drawer though a condition of their registration mandates that all firearms are securely stored
Kind of funny how "law-abiding citizens" actually need to follow the law ...
