>Let's get one thing straight. The soft drink industry is NOT a "predatory industry."

You kidding? We're talking about the same companies that have been buying up public water supplies all over the country. These people are deliberately trying to hook people on products that aren't good for us.

>If I feel like having a 32oz drink, I want to get a 32oz drink, not two 16oz drinks. Kind of stupid to have to do that if, for example, I want to watch a long movie like The Hobbit and there is only one cupholder available to me.

OMG, you might have to walk out to get another. Or get a diet soda.

>Frappacinos from Starbucks have lots of calories. Why not ban them as well?

They might limit the sizes, but they won't ban them.

Whatever. I'm not dying on this hill, so to speak. It isn't really my issue. But if I see obesity falling, I'll cheer it along.
