Aren't you comparing Apple's and oranges here? Yes, 4/4S nearly outsold all Android phones at Verizon this quarter, but Samsung doesn't have 37 models at Verizon. Conversely, if you consider the global market, where all Samsung's Android handsets are sold, they absolutely outsold the iPhone 4 and 4S combined. Probably even if you were to throw the iPhone 5 into the mix.
