I thought Apple would hit the $50 million on iPhones. I thought Macs would do better. Margins were lower but I expected this.

But, in a shortened quarter you have: Revenue +18%, iPhone +29%, iPad +48%, AppleTV +60%, China +67%, and Apple added some $16 billion to the coffers.

Any company out there would kill for these numbers.

If you are an Apple investor, however, you will have to be patient for a few months now. I don't think Apple will get any respect until they begin announcing new products and get through this next quarter.
