evidently you don't know what 'greed' is. can you define it? i don't care if you use a dictionary definition as long as it's in your own words. i've thought about what greed really is and have refined it over the years. i'll be happy to debate that with you also. so tell me, what is greed?

I have a definition of greed that I think is unique. Most of the time, greed is really just the other observing person's envy. In other words, most people wouldn't define themselves as greedy. It's another person who has less and wants more. In general, I don't think that greed can be given a black and white measurable definition. But I do think it exists. I like a definition that is similar to the definition of drug addiction. That is, to pursue financial and material gain to such a degree that it adversely affects other parts of your life such as relationships and health. However, even that definition on one's own values rather than the greedy person's values.
