Tom,, I've not thought about this thread in that many years, but I do recall CNBC running actual video of Lieberman speaking on the floor of the Senate in the early 1990's where he let the accounting practice slide through that did as much to create the bubble as the Maestro, Alan Greenspan. SI did go through a period of purging old threads that did not have any posts in the past number of years...... hence I occasionally go back to some of the old ones just to keep them from disappearing.
