Sarah Palin scares the dickens out of GOP establishment types. They think she rose because she exposed corruption in Alaska. She does not represent the values of democrat light that establishment Republicans are comfortable with.

Sarah Palin represents the values of the only group actively working to save this once great nation from the jaws of corrupt socialist creep. Since most GOP leaders are used to negotiating to reduce the rate of socialization of the nation, they don't know what to do with a leader who wants to move us towards freedom and prosperity.
