Except your Wikipedia entry leaves out MOST of the federal debt -- the unfunded liabilities in SS, Medicare, and pensions, which are a 4-6x multiple (depending on how you count it) of the "debt" as it is typically described.

Obligations of the country which will have to be met and cannot possibly be, leaving us with a crisis no country has ever faced.
