"With over 40% of thin float short interest there is a certain major
upward trend in price that is sure to catch short laggards in a switchbox pincer."

If you have time, and who does these days, I would like to learn more about the statement you wrote above. First, the concept of a float is the number of outstanding shares...Second, the notion of short interest is the number of shares shorted. Therefore, the float minus the short interest equals the number of shares held long. Is this correct? If you see a situation where 40 percent are short, that leads to the possibility that there will be a short squeeze at some time or that the longs are wrong and the stock is going to go down further. Is this correct? You are opting for the first interpretation. Right?

I think I know where I can find the statistics on the number of outstanding shares. Could you please direct me to where I might find the short interest for cymer and other stocks in general.

Thanks very much. I am relatively new to this and am constantly trying to improve my skills.
