I hate to sound paranoid, but I seriously question Kurlak's motives. This guy has lost all credibility after his flip-flop on MU and INTC. I follow Robert Stern's analysis on the semi equip group and he continues to call for 15-20% growth next year.
It sure is a difficult time to be in this market. I looked at KLIC at $39 when Merrill's own Robert Stern said it was a great "buying opportunity" after they warned about the Dec. quarter. I watched as it sold off heavily on 10/27 and thought I was smart when I bought it at $32 on the bounce, fully 20% less than at Stern's recommendation. It is sitting squarly 20% below my buy price now and looks real weak there. Same story with BRKS, CMOS and VECO. I'm afraid to jump into the Oil drillers for fear of starting another slide in that group.

Regards,
DOK
