I must be doing something wrong. I own exactly one of the stocks (SRE) mentioned in that article. I think, but will have to check, the reason is that my screen sets a higher bar for yield (with notable exceptions KO and ADP) than the SA author. My nominal ave yield (not yield on cost) is higher than his with less weighting on individual stocks (I have 40ish vs. his 30), but more concentration in some sectors than the author.

The above gives me some motivation to (once again) review my methodology and perhaps revisit my stock selections, though the latter is not as likely soon since I did a complete portfolio review just a month ago -- though I still have not acted on a couple of stocks that are on my "bubble" list, i.e., they may or may not remain in the DGR portfolio.

Just to clarify, I don't really think I'm doing something wrong (or right necessarily), I just find it interesting how different my DGR portfolio holdings are from some who have the same goals and/or similar philosophies, if not exactly the same methodologies.
