I agree that one size fits all isn't true, but close to one size will fit most. At least that is my WAG. The appeal of always with you is what drives this. A larger screen is nicer for computing use, and smaller unit is better for phone use. Where is the sweet spot? In some sense it really is a compromise of poor solutions for both (I'd prefer a 20" screen for example), but the winning ingredient is that the solution provides both functions and stays with you at all times. In the end this becomes more valuable than the other annoyances, and we change our habits to benefit and adapt.
