you asked me for an example of greed. here's one.

some guy finds a newspaper in a public place, like a cafe. he reads it completely. he's done with it and it's no longer of any use to him. he really doesn't want the paper anymore, but he takes it with him anyway, so no one else can have have it. that, to me, signifies greed.

now, please give me your definition of greed.
