"Transgenomic, Inc. today announced it has completed the requirements for CE IVD and significantly expanded distribution of its Scan SURVEYOR kit to detect K-RAS mutations in most of the European Union. SURVEYOR Scan K-RAS kit is CE IVD kit Transgenomic family member to detect the mutations, which has a proprietary technology Surveyor endonuclease. Scanning Surveyor is a new approach to detect mutations, which has been shown to provide comparable sensitivity and greater specificity than other commercially available kits.
