I was 30 when I joined SI and recall the pump & dump scams that were so frequent. Guys in Fla. putting out research reports on Stocks trading for 2 cents AND PEOPLE BOUGHT THEM! I recall names like Janice Shell & Tim Luke. I used my real name until I received a late night phone call that included the threat of violence if I didn't stop hammering the pump & dumpers LOL

There were many great times and SI Bob was awesome.


In a way we were pioneers of bytes and bits. 17 years later - it's hard to believe some of the things that have transpired in the markets and our lives
