While it is true that Rabbinic Judaism has misled the Jewish People (broad sense), it is also true that the symbol of the cross has come to be feared by them as it was associated down through their history with severe persecution. Grollier's encyclopaedia is only recording a synopsis of this history, and cannot be said to be a vehicle of Antichrist. I mentioned the book by Malcolm Hay, who is a Catholic theologian and certainly is not influenced by Antichrist. We must remove the fig leaves hiding the sin of anti-semitism in the Church and confess our sin to the Lord. He is merciful and will forgive us. Only then can we be truly free to love our Jewish brothers.
During the Yom Kippur War, the leaders of Israel were amazed by the actions of certain Christian groups who provided money, humanitarian aid, and even arms to help Israel in that war. This was totally unexpected by Israel and was a tremendous witness. Gradually, the scales of misunderstanding between Jew and Gentile are falling away.
Yet, we know that the Enemy will soon exact a persecution on Israel that will dwarf that of the holocaust, for 2/3 of the Jewish people will be slain just prior to the Day of the Lord. I pray that no Christian denomination will have a part to play in that scenario.
