One of my biggest complaints against the media is the continued "spoon feeding" that the US Economy is in such bad shape. If you look at "historic" unemployment rates, then you will see we are at near a "historically averaged" normal unemployment rate.

This continued media barrage of "the economy is in such bad shape" causes people to "blame" the economy for their woes. Well, the economy is not to blame, so get up from in front of TV and turn off Dr. Phil, and go find a normal job that pays what your skill sets demand.

Sure the guy that was working for minimum wage at 7-11 that became a "real estate agent" in 2004, and made 400K a year for a couple of years can't find a job that pays 400K anymore. To him, the economy is bad, but fails to understand that he is attempting to compare "normalcy against perverted distortions in the US Economy during the real estate bubble".

The Government and the media should call a "spade a spade" and just tell everyone that we are at "normalcy" folks. This is what "normal" looks like, and it's never going back to the hubris of the mid 2000's. Ever!!

The economy is not bad... It's normal.. So plan accordingly. Move along folks... Shows over.
