I picked up a few Monday and a few today, back in about half-way so far, roughly 24% under where I sold. Still not sure of short-term direction, but fairly content in the medium term (6 mos). Here's that course issuer bid release, note that it is an extension and they don't say they actually bought any shares yet;

TECSYN INTERNATIONAL INC. - CONTINUATION OF ISSUER BID PROGRAM

1997-12-01
ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO

TecSyn announces that it has received regulatory approval for the renewal of
its Normal Course Issuer Bid initiated in October, 1995. The new bid will
commence on December 3, 1997 and will expire on December 2, 1998. TecSyn
currently has 52,712,129 common shares issued and outstanding and may acquire
up to 2,635,606 shares (5%). Management of TecSyn is continuing the Normal
Course Issuer Bid as it believes TecSyn's shares are undervalued.
