Jeff, >>>Kurlak provides a service<<<

I am announcing a contest. There is no prize, but the winner will be announced on this thread.

Since the Dow has closed above 8000 the past three days and SOXX has found solid support at ~275, it appears that INTC is headed back up above 80 again. The contest is to predict when and what excuse Tom Kurlak will use to rehash vague statements to drive Intel back down under 80, again.

I will kick off the contest with my own predictions (you may submit any number of predictions you wish):

1. Brisk retail sub 1k PC sales causes concern
2. Slow restail sub 1k PC sales causes concern
3. Increased sales from competition (Cyrix and AMD)causes concern
4. Poor sales from competition (Cyrix and AMD)causes concern
5. Lower Percentage of Pentium sales versus Pentium II causing excess inventory
6. Higher percentage of Pentium sales versus Pentium II causing lower ASP
7. Unit sales are very high causing anti trust concerns
8. Margins are very good but not good enough in Kurlak opinion
9. Consumer sentiment concerning global warming may effect consumer PC sales.
10. Global warming fears increase sales, but the world may come to an
end sooner than later.

Good luck to all,

Mary
