Jeffrey, I am generally a nice, quiet, unassuming person who places extreme values on morality, class, high character, honesty, civility, decency, privacy and who despises confrontation, back-biting, gossip, untruthfulness, immorality and tale-bearing...so, perhaps, this thread is not for me. Since you have chosen to profane my reputation by humiliating me in this public manner, I would certainly appreciate a public apology. As you can see by the above, I certainly meant no harm to you...or anyone.
BTW, I am a friend, buddy, acquaintance or mentor with everyone on that "mailing list" you mentioned. Most of those people appreciate my passing onto them SOME of the research I do in order to, perhaps, save them a few steps and a little time. Just ask Charger...

Mr. Forrest, I have NEVER intentionally tried to hurt or offend anyone in my entire life. Jeff, I do not desire or wish a confrontation with you and would prefer to be friends and colleagues as we each faithfully and honestly attempt to help one another climb the ladder of investment success. However, your personal attack on my reputation and one of my companies is not necessary or acceptable. Pardon me if this offends you, but perhaps I should NOT have placed such a high value on your knowledge and advice on technical analysis, since you are obviously extremely sensitive and quite emotional. Especially about "SPAM"...gee, as far as I know I have never SPAM'ed anyone, ever.
Now my question becomes...should I trust your opinion about TA? My PCQuote RTQ charts appear to show a leveling of the MACD signal line mid-afternoon on BCMD, but %D Slow and %D Averaged show increased upward pressure into the close, with an upward tick on the MACD after the close? You see, Jeffery, this is the type of thing I would have asked you, IF we could have been friends.
We come into this world all alone and shall leave it in a box all by ourselves. In the meantime, we should endeavor in a kindly manner to help one another while we are here. We need community. We can go so much further by helping one another. I LOVE competition! I loved playing smash-mouth football in college, but honest, helpful, kindly cooperation is essential for a climb to the top of EXCELLENCE.
This inadequate but very powerful electronic medium we are using to communicate can be a very impersonal and insular world in which not all things may be as they seem. As a matter of personal and familial honor I would NEVER trash OR hype something JUST to make a little filthy lucre. I believe that I might lose God's blessing if I did such a dishonorable and selfish deed. I have tried diligently to obtain and build a great reputation for myself and my companies by being honest, helpful and forthcoming. If I should say anything on this thread or elsewhere in the world, I want to be taken seriously. The ONLY thing I was born with was a good reputation and I mean to keep that reputation AFTER I am deceased. You, sir, have damaged that reputation. I am personally hurt by your action and resent it mightily. With grave personal humility, I believe I deserve an apology, sir. |
