Yes indeed. I think to myself if the miners behave this way on a good tape what happens on a bad tape. The S&P and DJIA are up big since mid november and the strongest January in a very long time. Sometimes the miners do better on a relative basis sometimes not. My guess is most of the weak hands have sold but if pressed a few more will join.. ABX is off almost $1 from its morning high. I don't feel like committing any new money to miners until I see a more clear picture. I do expect a turn soon but i did not expect the miners to trade so poorly in January so don't listen to me -g-.
