RE Mike: I have separate Fed rules and New Years rules. These rules don't really over-ride the system because they are a part of the system. Realistically, you are only talking about what "appears to be breaks in mechanical protocol" affecting roughly 13 trading days out of 250 trading days in a year. As time progresses away from these few exceptional events, you will see me trading more like Robbie the Robot, or as my wife kiddingly says, "mechanical monkey." (I have never understood that one?)
