Hi combjelly; Re: "And no, warm in many parts of the globe does not mean it ["Medieval Climate Anomaly or MCA"] was global."

LOL! Here's an article by your buddy, Michael E. Mann which talks about the "global signature" of the MCA (i.e. the MCA is connected to the La Nina of the Pacific Ocean):

Global signatures and dynamical origins of the Little Ice Age and Medieval Climate Anomaly.
Mann ME, Zhang Z, Rutherford S, Bradley RS, Hughes MK, Shindell D, Ammann C, Faluvegi G, Ni F.

Compare with a Mann article from back in 2000 which claims that the MCA was North Atlantic only:

"There is modeling evidence, in fact, that suggests that medieval warmth was restricted to regions influenced by the North Atlantic (Overpeck, 1998)."

The fact that the MCA changed weather patterns across the globe is a big topic of international research right now. I think it's hilarious that you're in denial that it happened.
