I wouldn't call a response with couple possible counterarguments "stirring so much controversy". I will try to remember not to argue about the info you post. :)

I can agree with your claim "20 years olds paying all cash in expensive housing markets is one of the ways these housing markets stay expensive", although I think it's a minor effect that is emblematic of larger effect of US and international (super)rich paying cash in these markets because of their attractiveness to that slice of population.
