But you said the following: We can then surmise this is the long range agenda and if/when successful, home owners will be left without protection.

So what did you mean by that?

Do you think anti-gun activity has a specific scope such as: take away these assault weapons and make people register, then we will all be happy and shut up? I don't think that is the case. I hear people commenting about what is too many or what is not needed for a hunter or compared to what the police or military have etc. I hear gun owners saying it is not the government's business what they have in their personal arsenal and I hear anti-gun activists declaring what (if anything) should be in your personal arsenal. The issue is fluid and will continue to be a hot topic far beyond this round. Shepard tells us Guns are illegal in New York City.

And I ask you again...how would a campaign to register guns and ban assault weapons, but one that leaves the 2nd amendment untouched, lead to people losing their ability to defend themselves?

First, restrictions imposed by the government and requirements to disclose by the government is already touching the second amendment. Second, we know there are already restrictions that leave responsible law abiding people unprotected. Shepard tells us, it is illegal to have a gun in New York City. So if you are a law abiding resident of New York City it is illegal for you to have a gun to defend your self.

Do you support home owner gun ownership or not?

I support responsible and lawful gun ownership by the way...yes I do.

Ok
