Foreclosed homes are also having balances reduced and refi'd regardless of qualifications. That action makes me wonder if we could be in for another round of housing declines. If the banks were confident that housing had bottomed they wouldn't be reducing balances.

I could be flat wrong but the notion keeps running through my head.

OT

A guy was on CNBC yesterday talking natural gas. He mentioned that there was no way NG could stay this low for years to come. He compared it to gold in the late 90's. I've wondered about the same thing since last year. It might not be a bad idea to compile a list of NG companies that may be worth buying in bits and pieces as a long term hold. Buy your straw hats in the fall....right?
