That's the irony of socialism. It creates record wealth disparity. Capitalism is the only system that effectively lifts most boats. Socialism ends in cronyism and the winners are chosen by the government. Capitalism creates winners out of those who worked hardest and had the best ideas. Which model do you prefer? Government choosing the winners or yourself deciding to try to win or not?

My point is that government's role is to level the playing field so everyone who wants to try can be a winner. Their role should not be to choose who wins.
