IMO, the failure of Thermodox announced today hardly means that heat-release drug therapy is not an important technique – just not for the particular cancer situation of this trial. Heat–release of encapsulated drugs is surely, IMO, going to be important, in due time – for, eventually, many drugs. And, BSD M’s equipment is by far the world-leading choice for the precision heating required. - Ray
I agree with you that the heat-release drug therapy is very promising. I believe that it is a long way off, as I have stated... I do not see it happening in less than 5 years... BSD equipment is way ahead of the drug companies. Anyone that did not see that, was not looking. It really is that simple. I had actually thought BSD would close higher than CLSN today as I did not think that the results would be good. However, I think they were going to get hammered even with good results. They still would not have been close to T-Dox being market ready... That is why it is important to understand that BSD equipment will be ready when the drugs catch up (no matter what company makes the drug). It is a gamble to attempt to pick which company will make the drug, if it is limited to one company and that itself is no sure thing. I prefer stick with the company that has an extremely effective cancer treatment today, soon to be very profitable as well. I am confident that whichever company does have a major break thru with heat-release drugs, they will be using BSD equipment. Essentially, I see BSD equipment being the best treatment option today and the best treatment option in the future. Too many gamblers got suckered into a pipe dream that really did not have good odds with CLSN today...
On the bright side, I was again pleased to see that another 180 has been put in the mix with the PR related to the Greece sale. This consistent push of 180 machines being put in play should be front and center on any investor’s radar! |
