What Bentway said is stupid because of ridiculous arguments made by people that you claim are countering dumb arguments that aren't really being made?

Of course it is. But it shouldn't be changing quickly enough that humans notice it from year to year, decade to decade, probably even millennium to millennium most of the time.

Once again, semantics. You can call it whatever you want. But you do understand that there are optimal levels of various gases in the atmosphere for life to exist on this planet, right?

It's like Ph in a swimming pool -- If you have a pool, you have to put chlorine in it to keep it sanitary. But put too much in and it'll burn your skin off. Chlorine isn't really a pollutant, but having too much is bad. But if someone were to pour too much in and then someone said "oh, that's a pollutant because it's too much," I might correct their use of the word but I know what point they're trying to make. Wouldn't you?
