No, religion is dogma. There's a lot of science here.

This has been progressing not terribly far from how I was told it would... I still remember exactly where I was when a friend explained it to me in third grade. If anything, it's happening more quickly.

When a theory has predictive tendencies, it's worth at least thinking about believing it to be true. I mean, that's really what science is all about! Religion seems to work the opposite way. What, the sun doesn't really revolve around the earth? Screw that. I'm going to believe that it does for a few centuries after I've been shown that it doesn't.
