Mike,

You stated that "the intel article article mentioned the Miniature flash card, another flash standard from Intel which is different from Sandisk's CF. The miniature card doesn't have much market share though."

Lets review. Both are compact (small) image storage removable Flash Miniature Cards which fit into the back of cameras to take digital pictures - right? The difference is that Sandisk cards only store up to 20 MB while the Intel chip has up to 64 MB capacity. Intel has the 971 Camera Kit which is available for CAMERA MANUFACTURERS so that they can make their cameras so that they can hold INTEL flash memory chips with 3 times the capacity. If the price per MB of the INTEL chip is cheaper than the Sandisk chips, which camera do you think the camera makers will make? Ones that take the Sandisk chip or ones which take the larger capacity cheeper per megabyte INTEL chip. Do you think this may change the picture of "market share"?

Do ya think this has anything to do with the price of Sandisk stock going down? Am I missing something here?

I love to hear post about capacity, products, prices, megabytes, who has what product and what it will, do rather than all this wishing and wining that goes on this board. We need more digging and less wondering and crying. (Not referring to you Mike.)
