No, and next Q the difference in advertised prices will be even less significant. The point is CPQ is getting these chips from AMD for a song. CPQ also has a vested interest (since they own a % of AMD) in using AMD chips.

it keeps AMD happy knowing they can brag about having tier 1 oems, and CPQ percieves they are putting pressure on Intel to decrease prices.

Given AMD's yield problems, these volumes are really small (1/4 million/Quarter) to make any difference to Intel, since they would have sold it to tier3 OEM's anyway.

To AMD it implies that they are selling their chips at cost, which means further losses.
