willaim, then please expain why in the past when this as happened to exchange rates that cpq and ell ended up with extra profit....

also, in the case of korea..they have no choice but to try to technology themsleves out of their problem,
as far as home pcs...
Europe will more than make up the slack and remember...
the drastic cost drops are on 70% of their components and it applies to all sales. where as dell doesn't even register in fareast.
they are in the "other" catagory and un rank.
cpq has said the effect is .005 to business but the cost drops apply to all 100% of it.
this fundamental formula is the reason that it's always helped dell and cpq..
and europe wakening up means that dell and cpq cannot supply enough pcs.
