Very nice thread you guys have going here. I have been watching this company for about a year off and on. I think they will make the big time although I guess that no one can venture a guess as to when that day will be.

Clearly DNA vaccines and other DNA theraputic products will become prevalent beyond the year 2000. It is still a ways off but things look very promising on the DNA Malaria vaccine front from what I have read. VICAL was involved in the production of the initial single valent plasmid encoded vaccine and things went well with those trials. Hopefully we will soon see parties putting together multivalent gene encoded plasmids for follow on trials.

If it all works out, I would mean a lot to people around the world and of course to VICAL's bottom line. Currently about 250 Million people a year worldwide get Malaria and 3 Million die of it every year.
