Hi Michael,

I was amazed at all the pump and dump scams that I was getting text messages about back in 2007. There are perpetually a group of individuals that running scams, rings...... The old market books such as "Reminensces of a Stock Operator" talk extensively about well heeled investors who were putting together pools to drive stocks up and plungers...... individuals or groups that would very aggressively short the living daylights out of stocks from the second half of the 1800's and during the first two decades of this past century.

Mr Pink was quite the character.....

They just had a very large Money show in Orlando FLorida the past 4 days.......at the Gaylord Palms.... there were quite a number of people promoting oil and gas Limited Partnerships and Master LP's

Most of the attendees where saying how they had been scared out of the market... but they are obviously considering getting back in. I had a pretty intelligent guy tell me that rising bond rates were good for equities as it meant people were pulling money out of bonds and putting it in stocks.

Of course as yields rise in bonds it contracts that PE multiple that the market will pay for stocks.

John
