The Middle Class is getting their ass handed to them by Obama and Congress nowadays. This group is seeing their purchasing power and income shrink at an alarming rate. Many got their ass handed to them believing in GWB's Ownership Society. The 'alarming' drop was a 2007-09 thing when household net worth plunged by 40% MOL.. These days guess you are screwed if you are a renter, pay a disproportionate percentage of your income for food, gas, education and healthcare, live in a high cost area with tons of consumer and mortgage debt or live in a depressed low cost area without any opportunities..
