This will be a game debated for a long time. Should the Ravens have faked the field goal? Did the blackout affect the game? Was that a good no-call on what could have been holding in the end zone? Is taking a safety the right thing to do with 8 seconds left?

I'm fine with faking field goals close in if your defense playing well as you should get the ball back in good field position and might score a TD anyhow. As it appeared Baltimore was running away with the game, the blackout could only have helped stop the momentum. The no-call in the endzone was terrible and may have cost SF the Super Bowl. The correct thing to do when punting from your end zone with little time remaining is tell all your players to hold/tackle anyone attempting to rush the punter. That should run all the remaining time off the clock giving the other team an untimed down to score on a kick return. Much better than allowing a return likely to midfeld with about a second remaining followed by a Hail Mary.

BTW, congrats to Scott for winning the pool. Once he checks the net for the result of the game he should realize he won.
