Dak, Iran is NOTHING like the Soviet Union.

The only ideology the Soviet Union had was keeping itself and its leaders in power.

Iran is a different story. There's a big religious fundamentalist thing about those guys. They're waiting for the 12th IMAM. No Russian EVER believed in blowing himself up so he could go to some great afterlife. There are a LOT of Iranians that do. The Iranians crushed their green revolution and they'll crush any other revolution unless it has majority support. That'll take a while and more and more pressure.

"Rallying the masses" isn't always good if the MASSES want to follow Sharia Law and KILL everybody else that doesn't.
