There are a LOT of Iranians that do. >

"A LOT" is the eye of the beholder.... Iran, historically, has been the MOST educated and Westernized population in the Middle East.

I am NOT worried about the Iranian population being whipped up in some March to Israel. EVERYONE is worried about the leadership doing something stupid with bombs or whatever.

Remember also... this Iranian president is NOT the power in Iran, AND he will be gone shortly. Maybe we should fund this project:

cbsnews.com

Now... all that said... I've said for years on here that one of the biggest problems with the whole Afgan/Iraq fiasco is that THE REAL THREAT (Iran) may not be responded to because everyone is SICK AND TIRED of this crying wolf in the middle east.

In my opinion on all of these matters, local countries should have gotten involved if it was THAT important... then we can decide if we should support or not. Libya was the perfect example... our allies (the locals who actually understand the situation) had an axe to grind and then we an decide if we want to help out or not. To me if Southern Europe doesn't give a rats ass about Libya, why should we?? Currently in Syria... where is Israel, Turkey, and even Europe? When they get interested then there is something to talk about. If Obama's phone doesn't ring, he should keep his attention at home.

Obama is going perfectly except all troops should be out of Afganistan and Iraq already... more Americans will die in both places for no reason. We've tried to do what we can and given tons of aid... our job is (over) done.

There is nothing wrong with mayhem in the ME... there is nothing we can do to fix them, they have to figure it out LOCALLY... how ANY self respecting conservative can have any other opinion is beyond me!! The only business we have is if we are threatened or one of our allies is threatened and/or we are called on... then we decide. This is NOT the case (that we are threatened.... so we wait and decide if someone wants help locally) with any of this Arab spring.
