ok, time to clean up. Altair looks up at the ceiling of the NNBM Bar and sees the black pickled eggs stuck to the ceiling and smiles....those topless ladies from the retirement home were just amazing how they did that...he wonders if Polvy's eye is ok....he was very close when a pastie came loose during the act. There are three people still sleeping next to the plate of Wharfy's brownies. Most of the pickled eggs are gone....there is blue and black confetti all over the floor.....now what the hell are we going to do with all those red and gold balloons? Clappy is still passed out - he started a competition where every time an announcer mentioned the word Harbaugh, he had to drain a shot of tequila. Someone gave Mannie's dog one of those brownies..... the dog is prancing around in front of the bar with swagger pretending to be a Rotweiller guard dog. Rhoze just figured out she used the oil based red and gold body paint instead of waterbased....gonna be a while. JPG and Wharfy had been taking chicken dance lessons from Altair all last month - they are disappointed. And, the new guy Polvy invited who just bought SI said he really liked the Bar, but I think he might be more interested in developing the land its on. And Koan is finishing a piece for ESPN on "what if Jean Paul Sartre had done the play by play?"
The NNBM Bar is quiet now.....still smells a little of stale beer and grass....the wide screen is dark....no more hooting and shouting, high fiveing, and the anguished cries of the Niner fans have fallen silent.....yes, it's a quiet day after the Super Bowl here at the NNBM bar....what a fine place.
