I run W7 Pro on my desktop and XP on my lightly used, old laptop. Legacy software runs on both. I'm very happy with W7 and will resist any and all attempts to get me onto W8. Not sure what I'll do when XP is no longer supported. I will probably need something to interface with a projector (and maybe a projector, too) later this year. Not sure if the old laptop is up to it. Getting requests for travel photo talks... probably uncompensated, :-(
