<<I will give you a nudge ... elimination of the min wage.>>

OK, I'll do it this once:

We live in a society. Think of living in a tribe. The tribe has rights and obligations. For one thing it is important to keep the tribe strong so it can defend itself. That has always been a top priority. The warriors must be fed first to protect the tribe. Healers must be kept well so they can tend the wounded.

The anthropologists guess 25% of all humans killed in the last 10,000 years died because of war. Probably for lasdt 10 million years. Need to keep those warriors strong and healthy to protect the tribe.

The elders or tribel chief make these decissions to share the hunters kill so as to ensure a strong tribe (minimum wage). Then there is also the compassion. That is there as glue to keep the tribe together. Help for the old is to keep the wisdom around and watch the grand kids.

The minimum wage ensure the tribe remains strong and healthy and the compassion is the glue.

This reality which has run true for millions of years of human history is what you seem to have no perception or understanding of at all!

There is also the modern thinking. But that is another story.
